I've Won So Many Hearts Over The Years, But This One Trumps It All - Toke Makinwa Grateful As She Expects First Child
The Nigerian entertainment industry has been thrown into a congratulatory mood over the news of popular media personality, Toke Makinwa, expecting her first child.
Toke Makinwa took to her Instagram page on Wednesday to share the good news. In a viral video, the actress revealed her baby bump, while penning a lengthy message to describe her feeling and express gratitude to her maker.
She described her pregnancy as the biggest project of her life, noting how it is the highest so far. She stated that she had always been intentional about the prophecy for 2025.
"The biggest project of my life, the highest calling ever!
2025,......"What a difference a year can make". That was my prophetic declaration entering into the new year.
Expressing gratitude to her maker, she thanked Him for completely changing her life, opening a door that no one can shut, adding that she hopes not to get over what God has done for her.
"Dear God, You did this one, you have completely changed my life. You opened this door that nobody can shut.
I hope I never get over what you've done for me, you stirred the waters and put me in yourself."
Describing her testimony as a good timing, she thanked her maker for making everything beautiful in his time, "This testimony, the timing.... You make all things beautiful in your time and this is just perfect."
Noting how God put his reputation to save her, she cited how she thought He forgot her, but now she understands why it took Him long to answer her. She noted that God prepared her for her biggest blessing, praising him for being the God of time and chance, while emphasizing to the public that God is never late and can always be trusted.
"You are the God that will put his own reputation at risk just to save me, all that time I was convinced you had forgotten me,l didn't understand why it took so long but now I see it. You worked on my heart posture to get me ready for the biggest blessing and the highest calling.
You truly are the God of time and chance. Listen,......, God is never late, and God can be trusted."

My Season is here." Sharing how she has been involved in several projects over the years, but her pregnancy supercedes all, while thanking her fans and followers for supporting her all through the years.
"I've worn so many hats over the years but this one trumps it all and I'm so humbled to have been chosen. You guys have been with me from the start, the girl you met on radio, the brand you've supported all these years, this victory is major."
She further expressed delight that the public will soon begin to address her as a mother, while stating that her heart is over the moon, and she can't wait to give birth.
