Gopsel Singer Gaise Baba Clocks 39

Nigerian gospel singer, Akinade Ibuoye, popularly known as Gaise Baba, is celebrating his birthday, today, August 5.

The 'No Turning Back' crooner took to his Instagram page to share an emotional message in celebration of his 39th birthday.

Describing his birthday as a mixed feeling birthday, he noted how his late mum would have called or sent him a message around 12am to wish him happy birthday, stating that he won't be getting such kind gesture again.

"It's my birthday today. It's a mixed feelings kinda birthday though. Mummy would have called/messaged me at 12midnight; clockwork, without fail. And so last night I teared up a bit, cos I knew I won't be getting that call this time."

Focusing on the bright side, he shared how his career has transformed over the past three months, emphasizing how his birthday is a day filled with conflicted emotions.

"On the other hand, as an artiste, my life has literally changed in the last three months! So I guess you can see how it's a day with conflicted emotions."

Expressing gratitude to his maker, he thanked God for everything, declaring that he is ever evolving like fine wine.

"In all things still, we give thanks. For the pleasant and the painful, we judge Him faithful! This is 39, and Abba's golden boy is ever evolving like fine wine.

The LORD Himself mothers me now, and I experience His multi-breasted-ness!
