I Enjoyed Producing More Than Acting - Ego Boyo On Why She Quit Acting 

‎Veteran Nollywood actress and producer, Ego Boyo, has addressed the numerous speculations about her reason for quitting as an actress.

‎ ‎The veteran star, who has left acting to focus on movie production for some years, addressed the speculations in a recent interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo on Wednesday.

‎ ‎According to her, the decision to leave acting was solely based on the fact that she discovered that she had more passion for producing than acting. She stressed that acting became boring to her at that point.

‎ ‎Addressing rumours that her husband banned her from acting, Ego stressed that her husband never banned her, and it was the blogs who just kept looking for something to pin on her.

‎ ‎She said: ‎"I left acting when I found out that I enjoyed producing more than acting. It was boring. The blogs wanted it to be something like my husband banned me from it, they wanted it to be sensational and it was not.”
