‎I Am Sorry, Don't Be Offended - Veteran Actor Yemi Solade Apologizes For Slapping Afeez Owo On Set

‎Veteran Nollywood actor, Yemi Solade, has apologized to his colleague, Afeez Owo, for slapping him on set many years ago.

‎ ‎According to Yemi, while speaking on Behind the Fame African A-List podcast, he stated that the incident happened over 20 years ago, when Afeez Owo was the production manager of a movie.

‎ ‎He revealed that upon the end of filming, there was a blackout, and while complaints were being made by the casts and crew to Afeez Owo, who was the production manager, he wasn't taking them seriously, which led to the altercation.

‎ ‎Yemi, however, apologized to Afeez not to be offended with him for the incident.

‎ ‎He said: ‎“Let me apologise to actor Afeez Abiodun who I once slapped many years back. He was the production manager of the movie, it was over 20 years ago but I can’t recall the year.

‎ ‎“When we finished filming in Ibadan, there was a blackout. He was the one we would lay our frustrations on as the production manager. It got me infuriated because he wasn’t taking me seriously, and that slap came from nowhere, in the dark. I didn’t like that.

‎ ‎“Afeez, I’m sorry don’t be offended with me. I have discussed the incident with people before now, but let me just speak to Afeez directly."
