Nigerian comedian-turned-singer Lawal Michael, popularly known as Nasboi, has teased his fans with his decision to quit skitmaking.
The multi-talented creative, who has put more focus on his music career in the past year, made the deceptive announcement in an Instagram post on Monday.
According to the 'Umbrella' crooner, for the past five years, he has put dedication to creating skits consistently, using laughter, storytelling, and real life moments to entertain.
He described his journey of skitmaking as "nothing short of amazing," appreciating his fans and colleagues for the love.
Surprisingly, he announced his decision to quit making, stating that his decision was influenced by a need to focus more on his music career.
He, however, clarified that he was joking, while urging his fans to stream his new song"Friday Night."
He wrote: "Good morning guys!! For the past 5 years, I've dedicated myself to creating skits Using laughter, storytelling and real life moments to entertain.
This journey has been nothing short of amazing.
The love from fans, colleagues, I say thank you.
After a lot of reflection and prayer, I have dedicated to quit skit making.
