Kiddwaya Subjected To Criticism Over Appeal For Donation For Benue Killings 

‎Popular Big Brother Naija season 5 contestant, Terseer Kidd Waya, best known as Kiddwaya, has been subjected to immense criticism for soliciting for monetary donations from Nigerians.

‎ ‎Recall that The Nigerian Voice reported that around 200 people were killed in an attack on Yelwata, Guma Local Government Area of Benue State.

‎ ‎Following the massacre, many well-meaning Nigerians have criticized the government for failing to address the incessant killings, with several celebrities joining the public outcry.

‎ ‎Taking to his X handle, Kiddwaya urged the public to donate to his NGO to support the victims of the Benue killings.

‎“At the Kiddwaya Foundation, we’re mobilizing resources to provide food, shelter, and essential support to those affected. But we can’t do it alone; we need your help.”

‎ ‎Kiddwaya's call for donations was met with resistance and immense criticism on social media, with many pointing out his flamboyant lifeclass, and describing his call for donations as a means to "scam the public."

‎ ‎Following the heavy backlash, Kiddwaya deleted the call for monetary donations tweet from his X handle.
