‎DNA Tests Should Be Conducted In Secrecy, Results Kept Private Unless In Cases Of Infidelity – Daniel Regha

‎Popular social media commentator and critic Daniel Regha has shared his perspective on the controversy surrounding DNA testing.

‎In a post on his X handle on Monday, Regha argued that DNA tests should be conducted discreetly, with results kept confidential unless infidelity is involved.

‎According to him, this approach preserves trust and maintains peace in relationships. He added that the only exception to disclosing DNA test results to a partner should be to establish the legitimacy of children for family purposes, particularly in the event of unexpected death.

‎Daniel Regha wrote on X:
‎"DNA test should be done in secrecy, and the results should be kept a secret (unless there's a case of infidelity), cos the DNA testing shows lack of trust. This way, the peace is maintained afterwards. The only time one should make a DNA test request/result known to their partner is if the purpose is to prove the legitimacy of their child(ren) to their families, just in case death comes unexpectedly. Some families can be hostile towards in-laws, so it's one way to fight for your loved ones after death."

‎Regha’s post sparked mixed reactions, with some users questioning his stance.

‎One Shege wrote, "What is the full meaning of DNA?"

‎One Smith commented, "How much do you trust women?"

‎One Sirkings asked, "But what inspired you to post this?"

‎One Mazi Ebuka responded dismissively, "When u marry first, we can take u serious. Person wey never take responsibility of a child before dey give advise smh."
