Injustice Anywhere Is A Threat To Justice Everywhere - Eedris Abdulkareem Set To Release New Song Following VeryDarkMan's Arrest
Legendary Nigerian rapper, Eedris Abdulkareem, is set to release a new song, in response to the arrest of self-acclaimed activist, Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
Recall that Eedris Abdulkareem, in solidarity with VeryDarkMan, took to his Instagram page to post an image which reads "free VDM". He further urged Nigerians to close down their GTB account due to the injustice meted out to the activist.
Taking to his Instagram page on Wednesday, the rapper shared an image of his soon-to-be released song 'Freedom Fighters Blues', while he emphasized that injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere, alluding to the arrest of VeryDarkMan by the EFCC.

The Nigerian Voice reported on Friday, that popular human rights lawyer, Deji Adeyanju, via his X handle, announced the arrest of VeryDarkMan by the police at GTB.
Deji Adeyanju further released a preliminary statement on Friday evening, which clarified that VeryDarkMan was in the custody of the EFCC in Abuja.
Following continuous clamour from Nigerians on the reason for VeryDarkMan's detainment, the EFCC on Tuesday, released a press statement revealing that the petitions against VDM "pertains to grave allegations of financial malfeasance which cannot be ignored by the Commission."
The anti-graft agency further added that he has been offered an administrative bail and would be released after fulfilling all the bail conditions.
