Breaking: Speed Darlington In Police Custody Again

Controversial Nigerian singer, Darlington Okoye, popularly known as Speed Darlington, has been arrested by the Nigerian Police Force.

The Nigerian Voice recalls that Speed Darlington sparked uproar on social media when he shared a video holding a baby oil, and insinuated that Burna Boy was involved romantically with embattled American rapper, Diddy. He further suggested that Burna Boy's relationship with Diddy made him win the Grammys.

In response, Burna Boy had the singer locked up for days in prison, before the intervention of human rights lawyer, Deji Adeyanju, got him out of prison.

In a recent development, Speed Darlington's lawyer, Deji Adeyanju, announced via his Facebook page on Wednesday, that his client is in the custody of the Nigerian police force.

He wrote: “Our client Speed Darlington, a.k.a AKPI has been arrested by the Nigerian police in Owerri at his show upon return to Nigeria."
