Biodun Okeowo Appreciates Lola Idije For Defending Her Amidst Husband Snatching Allegations 

Popular Nollywood actress, Biodun Okeowo, has appreciated her senior colleague and veteran actress, Lola Idije for standing up for her in the midst of the allegations, that she snatched her daughter's husband.

Recall that The Nigerian Voice reported that the rumour of Biodun Okeowo snatching the boyfriend of the daughter of Lola Idije shook the Internet, and the actress had to make a live Instagram video to address the claims, while noting that there is no familiarity between her newly wed husband and the daughters of Lola Idije.

Lola Idije also defended her junior colleague via her Instagram page, noting how she could not have been at her wedding if the rumours were true. She further noted that none of her daughters know Biodun Okeowo's husband personally, and in fact, it was Biodun herself who initiated a call that made her speak with her husband for the first time.

Reacting to Lola Idije's defense, Biodun Okeowo took to social media to appreciate her senior colleague for coming through for her.

Yeah! I needed to speak up for myself, my children, unborn children, husband, in-laws, families, and my true fans. As they say, the internet never forgets, I don’t want to be remembered for something that does not define me at all.

I come first in all of this, my sanity matters. Being bullied is not healthy. I had to speak out, especially after seeing my daughter’s comment on Gistlover, defending me. That was the breaking point for me. I can’t remain silent seeing my child in that state, that is something she would never have done under normal circumstances. For her to do that. I know it’s time for me to save their faces.
