Davido Says He Is From A Respectful Family

Popular Afrobeats singer, David Adeleke, better known as Davido has stated that he is from a respectful family.

Davido's declaration stems from how his colleague, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, best known as Wizkid, shaded him last week in a series of tweets on his X handle.

Wizkid claimed that Davido was not well trained, alluding to the numerous public dance videos of his uncle and Governor of Osun State, Ademola Adeleke.

Reacting to Wizkid's shade, Davido clarified the claim during a courtesy visit to the Olu of Warri in Delta State on Saturday.

He noted that as a celebrity, he sometimes acts out of proportion, which is not down to his upbringing. He noted that his family trained him well.

He said: “I was brought up by great parents. I come from a very respectful family but sometimes, as OBO [star], I may act out of place."
