CharlyBoy Slams Pastor Adeboye Despite Apology On Tithe Claims
Veteran singer, Charles Oputa, best known as CharlyBoy has slammed the General overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church Of God (RCCG), Pastor Adeboye over his apology on his tithe claim.
Recall that Pastor Adeboye, during the just concluded International Youth Convention at the Redemption camp in Mowe, Ogun State, apologized for his claims that those who do not pay tithes would not go to heaven. He admitted that his claims about tithe was not in the Bible, and instead, the Bible spoke about following peace with all men.
Reacting to the clergyman's apology, CharlyBoy stated that his apology doe not count, unless he returns all the tithes he has collected in the past.
CharlyBoy wrote: "I truly believe that a lot of the fakest people are found in churches, my opinion not yours. Your apology don’t mean shit unless you promise to return the tithe money them give you for mumu people wey wan bribe dia way to heaven.
“Stop giving ur CONGREGATION ridiculous Lamba’s Sometimes the nicest people you meet may have bodies covered with Tattoos, the most bitter, judgemental, envious and wicked people all go to church on Sundays.
