Mercy Eke Bemoans Millions Of Naira Stuck In Heritage Bank 

Popular reality TV star and winner of Big Brother Naija season 4, Mercy Eke, has come out on social media to bemoan the amount of money she has with Heritage Bank, which just got its license revoked by the Central Bank of Nigeria.

Mercy Eke revealed that she has been in trauma ever since she heard the news of the revocation of Heritage Bank license and she is really hurt because she has over N100 million left with them.

She stated that she would not have anything to do with the bank, if not that they were a sponsor of the Big Brother Naija show which she won and that was what made her create an account with them. She further stated that her account manager also has a hand in the whooping amount of money left in the bank because the account manager would have had knowledge of the issues facing the bank, but did not deem it fit to warn her.

She wrote on X; “I really don’t no how to react about this … I have been hoping for the best .. thinking there’s a way out…. [Hash tag] HeritageBank.”

Shortly after her tweet, a fan quizzed her; “Omg Lambo hope you don’t have acct with them?”

She replied saying ; “I do… and have above 100m with them.”

She was asked by another; “Why did you open an account with them in the first place?”

She replied saying; “That was the bank that sponsored Bbn during my set, for them to pay our money we were advised to open an account with them… stupid me went ahead and funded the account … don’t worry I’m full of regrets right now.”

She was then asked on the response of her account manager, which she replied ;

“She lured me into fixing my money, knowing fully well there’s been issues with the bank … I don’t have words for her, I blame myself.”
