3 Years After Wilfred Agbonavbare's Wife Died Of Cancer, He Is Down With Same Sickness

Three years after the wife of former Nigerian International goalkeeper, Wilfred Agbonavbare died of breast cancer, the ex-footballer has been diagnosed with the same illness.

Agbonavbare, an ex-Rayo Vallecano goalkeeper is currently at a Spanish hospital where he is undergoing treatment for yet to be disclosed type of cancer.

He was a member of Nigeria’s U-21 Mexico 1983 Flying Eagles, 1984 AFCON silver medalist and 1994 AFCON gold medallist.
