Society honours OBJ as son, Bisoye, weds in Abeokuta

One thing you cannot take away from former Nigeria’s President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, is the fact that he enjoys respect across the globe, no matter the controversy you might think of him.

This special quality of the Owu born Army General came to the fore two weeks ago when his homecountry, Abeokuta, turned a Mecca of sort when one of his sons, Bisoye walked down the aisle with his heartthrob, Chigozie Nwenyi.

The day was a roll-call of those that matter in Nigeria. The wedding which held at the Chapel of Christ The Glorious King, in Abeokuta, Ogun State, drew to it notable figures like the FCT State Minister, Jumoke Akinjide, who represented President Goodluck Jonathan, former President Ibrahim Babangida, serving Ministers, top government officials, former governors, and royal fathers.
