The rate at which cancer is eating deep into the society is becoming very alarming. Before now, not much awareness has been carried out on the silent killer disease taking over that accolade from the once dreaded HIV/AIDS disease.

Cancer, according to recent research, is killing more people than HIV/AIDS. Cancer has various types like the breast, skin, cervical, lungs, e.t.c., which eat deep into people due to inability to go for check ups or much awareness on it.

One actress that is taking a bold step in battling the menace caused by cancer is Halima Abubakar. To fight cancer, the sexy Kogi-State actress has shaved her hair to that effect.

According to what Nollywoodgists.com scooped from Halima, she shaved her hair with the aim of raising awareness for cancer in conjunction with Wow Diva organisation.
