Check out this amazing video of Nigerian author Chimamanda Adiche, as she lectures on how one story may have different meanins to different people, and the perspectives and impact will differ depending on who’s telliing the story and who’s reading the story. This is true in so many ways. The way we view ourselves (as a Nigerian), is different from the way others who know about us through the lens of a Westerner, will view us.
