Pastor Dies On The 25th Day Of 40 Days Fasting
Francisco Barajah, a Pastor and French teacher in the town of Messica in the central province of Manica, bordering Zimbabwe has been reported dead while on a huge mission.
Francisco, a Mozambican and the founder of the Santa Trindade Evangelical Church, according to The BBC report, died on the 25th day of his 40 days fasting mission. Although, fasting for days was not an uncommon adventure to the late pastor. His religious flock revealed this, though. They said that it was common for him to fast but not for such long periods of time.
It was unfortunate that the pastor died after being rushed to the hospital by his relatives and followers owing to his deteriorating health; a resultant of his huge mission.
When he arrived at the health facility, Barajah was diagnosed with acute anemia and organ failure. He is reported to have lost so much weight that he could not even stand up.
BBC also reports that Efforts to rehydrate the pastor with serums and liquid foods proved futile as he passed away a few hours after being admitted to the health facility on Wednesday, February 15th.
