ANTP BANS KUNLE AFOLAYAN OPEYEMI AYEOLA MUKA RAY OTHERS
The Lagos State chapter of Association of National Theater Arts Practitioners (ANTP) banned some members of the umbrella body of Yoruba movie industry. Our source hinted that Kunle Afolayan, Opeyemi Aiyeola, Muka Ray, Lasun Ray, Don Richards, Tokunbo Latona, Tunde Dickson and several others were banned on Tuesday 4th November, 2008.
http://www.nollywoodgists.com source hinted that, the banned ANTP members were found wanting for not attending activities of the organization.
Gist has it that other members of the association whose names were mentioned were Femi Adebayo and Sodiq Adebayo both children of former national president of ANTP, Adebayo Salami aka Oga Bello. They were however pardoned based on what our source described as their father' s influence.
Gist has it that the banned movie artistes may be paying for showing loyalty to Kunle Afod who has continued to publicly declare that he opposed to the leadership of ANTP and a member of the rival group called One House.
Interestingly, virtually all the banned artistes featured in Kunle Afod's latest movie entitled ˜Ina Eso' which has just been shot.
