Taye Taiwo Fails To Impress Coach
The coaching staff decided to not sign Taye Taiwo, who trained with Legia during the mid-season training camp in Turkish Belek.
Taye Taiwo trained with the team on Monday and on Tuesday he played in a friendly match against Qarabag FK. The Nigerian left-back didn't impress manager Henning Berg and the coaching staff decided to not sign Taiwo.
'It's good that we could have him train with us, but if we were going to sign him, he would have to be better than the players we already have in his position,' explained Henning Berg.
Taye Taiwo who joined the Green Crocodiles on a three - year deal in the summer of 2013 on a free transfer from AC Milan have been denied signatory to play for the Legia team.
