Salawa Abeni is one female music artiste that is adored in the Nigerian music industry. Her 'Senwele' style of music was the rave of the moment in the 90's. Her romance with Fuji music icon, General Kollington Ayinla also shot her into limelight.

On October 14, 2012, Oriental Hotel was agog for the daughter of Salawa as Candy 'Fabulous' Abeni celebrated her 30th birthday party that day. For those who graced the party, they had a lot to go home with. Part of the gift items the celebrant gave her guest in a Louis Vuitton gift bag were LV key holders, phone cases, cufflinks, mufflers and others.
