The fear of Boko Haram is gradually becoming the beginning of wisdom for the entire nation.
Following the incessant bombing and killing by the dreadful Islamic sect, te committee and members of St. Theresa Catholic Cathedral, Nsukka in Enugu, have agreed that no bags of any form allowed into the church auditorium. Women are also said to do away with headgears and stuff like that.
According the report, the Cathedral Administrator, Rev. Fr. Uche Obodoechina, announced this on Sunday, August, 26, 2012, saying that the ban will commence on September 9, this year.
Motorists have also been banned from parking in the church premises and commercial motorcyclists are to be restricted to a designated space within the compound.
In a bid to secure lives and property within the church premise, it was leanrt that there is a standing order that the church gate will henceforth be closed by 6AM for those coming for 5.30AM Mass and 8AM for the 7.30AM Mass.
The clergyman explained that the move was to enable security men prevent the possibility of a bomb being smuggled into the church.
