Davido Opens Up On Assault Allegation: Cries, 'I Didn't Do It'

Some hours ago, news spread like harmmatan fire about the involvement of teenage singer, Davido in an alleged assault on a cab driver. While the story went viral, many condemned the 'omo baba olowo' artiste for the alleged violent act.

Disturbed by it, the son of billionaire businessman, Deji Adeleke, was forced to open up on the news story. The MTN Pulse ambassador took to his twitter handle some hours ago to respond to the news item.

According to him, "Wow! Don't believe everything you read, people. SMH (Shaking My Head). And that is all."

In the earlier reported story, Davido allegedly beat up a cab driver, Femi Ajibola, after he (cab driver) reportedly tried to assist one Davido's 'girlfriend', who was reportedly being chased by the teenage artiste from his hotel room.

This, as also reported, happened after the girl allegedly caught Davido with one of her friends in his (Davido) hotel room in Victoria Island, Lagos on July 1, 2012.

Femi alleged that Davido seized his car keys and his 100,000 Naira got missing in the process. He also claimed that he suffered some injuries from Davido and his bodyguards' beating. Tough, his car key has been retrieved by the police from Davido, but he is reportedly yet to get his lost money back and also get any treatment or apology from Davido.
