Man Killed In Lagos Protest By Police Officer

Trouble broke today at Abatan area of Ogba, Lagos State when a police officer allegedly identified as John Okafor was reported to have shot a teenage boy yet to be identified.

According to reports available to NigeriaFilms.Com, the middle aged boy was shot dead by a policer reported to be a Divisional Police Officer (DPO). The boy was said to be at a news stand with other people reading newspapers at the newspaper vendor's stand at Ogba when they were hit by stray bullets.

He was said to be shot by the police along with three other people who were rushed to the hospital by some people around while the boy died instantly. His remains was displayed at Pen Cinema police station in Agege,Lagos by some angry youths.

Reports say that he was not part of those protesting with The Labour and other society groups. The police has not yet commented on the issue.
