NO,GENEVIEVE DIDN'T SAY SO
Some fans of the incredibly talented actress, Genevieve Nnaji, operating under the name of Genny4life have risen in defence of the star of Ije, Mirror Boy, and other movies, over an allegation that she described 'Nigerian journalism as crap' on twitters recently.
In a terse reaction they issued on face book, the group said it was important to correct the impression making the rounds because 'Genny didn't say so'. According to the group, the statement was made by one Nwabekee and it only appeared on Genny's tweets after she had apologized for paying tribute to the Late Sam Loco Efe whom she described as her 'first screen dad'.
The group maintained that Genny had only returned to tweet that she was never going to post anything on death again following the confusion that trailed the death of the enigmatic Loco Efe and that it was in response to her apologetic tweets that a certain Nwabekee tweeted that one liner that has now been ascribed to Genny. 'Our Dear Genny holds the Nigerian Press who has contributed in making her in high esteem and so wouldn't have described them as crap', the statement said.
