International football star, Obafemi Martins is bereaved. He lost his elder brother, oladipupo who was fondly called Ladi yesterday at Dorel Specialist Hospital, Ajah, Lagos.

It was learnt that Ladi had been battling heart problems before he eventually died of heart attack.

Ladi was also in the same profession just like his younger brother, Femi Martins, though his career as a footballer did not hit the headlines like that of Femi.

He featured for AC Reggiana of Italy, FK Partizan of Serbia and Innsbrucker AC of Austria before returning to Nigeria.

This is the second time in three years that Obafemi Martins will be left bereaved, has he lost his mother Alhaja Sherifat Martins in 2008.
