YEMI SOLADE LAMBASTS FUJI ARTISTES
Versatile actor, Yemi Solade, has fumed at fuji musicians, who have been extending their tentacles to the movie industry. Speaking with Entertainment Cafe, the light-complexioned actor said that movie producers should endeavour to strictly screen fuji musicians before giving them roles. “Although it is not as if I am against fuji musicians getting movie roles, producers should just try and screen them properly. “I won't like a situation where people will encroach on this industry and start introducing all sorts of vulgar slangs. Fuji artistes are the originators of these slangs because their fans are mostly area boys.
“Besides, if you are bringing them to the movie industry, automatically, you're also inviting area boys. In fact, most of the artistes are area boys, so that is why I said they should be screened.” He, however, enjoined actors and intending ones to pursue formal education and training before going into acting.
